Arina Koh is Director, Human Resource Department of the Ministry of Manpower, Singapore. Arina is responsible for providing professional and operational leadership in the full spectrum of Human Resources, including overseeing Organisational Development & Excellence in the Ministry.
Prior to assuming the Human Resources portfolio, she was with the former National Human Capital Office of the Ministry where she led a team of officers to oversee the Ministry’s initiatives at the national level in building human capital and leadership capabilities for Singapore. She also contributed as a team lead in engaging renowned thought leaders such as Professor Dave Ulrich and Professor Robert Sutton in conducting a CEO roundtable that led to the publication of ‘Asian Leadership : What Works’ as part of the Ministry’s efforts in positioning Singapore as a Global Hub for Human Capital Management and Leadership Development, in Asia, for Asia.
Arina graduated from the University of Leicester (UK) with BA (Hons) Economics and a Master of Business Administration. She has worked in both the private and public sectors, specifically in Banking, Training and Development, Workforce Development as well as in the Human Resources. Arina is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD), UK and a Senior Assessor of the Institute of HR Professional (IHRP). She has also attained CIPD level 7 (postgraduate) Advanced Award (Merits) in Organisation Development & Design with the CIPD.
